Area Sales Director – Midwest
Due to tremendous growth, one of the nation’s leading construction product manufacturers, is looking for an Area Sales Director for their Midwest U.S. area.
Description:
Oversee all sales function in the Midwest area - product sales revenue and gross margin
Define the required levels of promotional activities required by functional group. Overseeing 5 Regional Sales Manager and one Regional Engineer.
Collaborate with directors / VPs of allied business units to ensure goals and objectives are aligned company wide
Develop annual goals and strategic initiatives that are measurable and accountable
Develop and execute a strategic plan to reach sales targets
Demonstrated proficiency in forecast methodologies
Prepares daily, weekly, and monthly reports, ensuring to verify data accuracy and understand data fluctuations
Requirements:
Five + years of management experience within the construction products industry. Preferably experience managing technical sales team. Also, experience working with distribution.
Experience in selling value added engineered solutions
Education:
Bachelor’s Degree in: Construction Management, Engineering, Business Administration, or related field, required
