The Director of Business Development will lead the company’s efforts in identifying and securing new business opportunities, focusing on expanding their presence in the renewable energy market. You will work closely with executive leadership to develop strategies, build relationships with key stakeholders, and negotiate contracts. This is a high-impact role, ideal for someone with a strong background in business development and a passion for renewable energy, focusing on increasing the company's presence on approved and preferred vendor lists.
Key Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Engineering, or a related field.
- 8+ years of experience in business development, preferably in the utility PV solar space
- 3+ years minimum in the solar industry
- Strong understanding of the energy market, including regulations and trends
- Excellent negotiation, communication, and relationship-building skills
- Ability to travel as needed and work onsite with teams
Salary Range: $140K - 160K + bonus
