The Sales Manager for BESS will drive the implementation of BESS value propositions in North America, and develop business opportunities for turn-key solutions including BESS, Photovoltaic Power Plants, Micro-grids, and related systems. This role involves negotiating utility-scale contracts, participating in reverse auction bids, and driving commercial strategies. The Sales Manager will create and execute business strategies to meet sales, profitability, and product portfolio management goals. The position requires frequent domestic travel within the assigned region and occasional international travel.
The ideal candidate will have:
- Masters Degree in Engineering or Business Administration
- 7+ years experience in business development/sales in utility-scale renewable energy projects
- Proven network and experience with Utilities, IPP, Developers, and other stakeholders
- Experience working in a multinational environment
- Proven expertise in grid codes, energy and power-intensive BESS applications, PCS, and Power Management Systems
Salary range: $120-140k + Bonus
