Our firm, The Christian Wyatt Group, is working in confidence with a highly successful Southeast community bank on a SVP, Director of SBA Credit Administration role. As the Director of SBA Credit Administration, you will report directly to the bank’s Chief Credit Officer and function as the #2. This role will not only encompass overseeing credit underwriting but have a hand helping with credit administration functions such as credit reporting and risk management.
This role is a key Senior Management position that will work closely with the Chief Credit Officer to ensure appropriate credit administration practices are being adhered to as well as assisting the Chief Risk Officer with bank examinations and internal audit activities that pertain to this area. Additionally, will work with the Special Assets Group to review and assess asset quality reporting on past dues, early defaults, non-accruals, and other metrics necessary to manage problem assets and determine appropriate loan grading.
This is a high exposure senior level role that needs strong experience and knowledge base within SBA lending. (Candidates without extensive SBA Credit experience will not be considered).
