Our client is a leading concrete and civil earthwork contractor, ranked as a Top 100 Specialty Contractor in the U.S. seeking a Chief Estimator in the Charlotte area.

 

Position Summary:
The Chief Estimator manages the regional estimating team, oversees project budgets and estimates, and ensures adherence to procedures. Responsibilities include bid reviews, scope verification, risk assessment, and collaborating with other departments to ensure successful project bidding.

 

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead and mentor the estimating team.
  • Review project plans, risks, and scope.
  • Prepare estimates, budgets, and bid documents.
  • Build relationships with clients, suppliers, and subcontractors.
  • Analyze costs and industry trends.

 

Qualifications:

  • 7+ years of construction experience, leadership skills.
  • Proficient in estimating software (e.g., Bid2Win).
  • Strong communication and problem-solving skills.

 

Travel: Some required.
