Associate Chief Nursing Officer
Western United States
Join a community hospital as their Associate Chief Nursing Officer (ACNO) ensuring patient care provided by staff is consistent with regulatory standards as well as with internal expectations of the organization. The Associate Chief Nursing Officer (ACNO) works closely with the Chief Nursing Officer (CNO) in managing nursing services. Will focus on planning, development, and evaluation of nursing care delivery. The ACNO supports professional development, evidence-based practices, and nursing research to ensure high-quality clinical care. Assist in the strategic planning, goal setting, and policy development to enhance nursing services and patient care. Manage the Human resource function for their assigned departments, including hiring, training, and scheduling. The ACNO will be part of the Executive leadership team and will report to the Chief Nursing Officer.

Hospital and Position Details:
- Network: Including a hospital and several clinics - Urgent Care, Primary Care, Family Medicine, and Emergency Services.
- Oversees - Case Management, Critical Care Department, Med-Surg Services Department, Obstetrics Unit, Emergency Department, Oncology Services, Home Care Services, Nursing Administration. Oversight of other departments can be added as needed by Executive Leadership
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing, required. Master's degree in nursing, healthcare, business, or related field, required.
- Current State Nursing License, required.
- 5+ years of progressive nursing leadership including clinical and operational experience, required.
- Recent experience managing the activities of multiple departments, strongly preferred.
- Previous ACNO experience, preferred.
- 5+ years clinical nursing experience in an acute care facility, required.
- Previous experience working in a rural healthcare setting at a Critical Access Hospital, preferred.
- Able to lead diverse groups and demonstrate solid interpersonal skills.
- Ability to be visible and hands-on as needed.
