We are searching for an E&S Underwriting Manager to directly manage two Underwriting Managers and indirectly manage a staff of 13 underwriters who write contract-binding E&S business for a well-respected insurance carrier.

Our client has been in business for close to 100 years and offers great benefits and lots of advancement opportunities.

This is a hybrid role with 3 days in the office. In this role, you will manage people, strategic planning, budgets, profitability, and agency relationships with wholesale brokers. Reporting to this role are (2) Underwriting Managers and (13) New Business Underwriters.

Must be someone who has managed commercial lines underwriters and performed hiring, firing, and performance reviews. Experience can come from either the standard lines or excess surplus side of underwriting.
