Key Responsibilities:
- Drive New Business Growth: Proactively identifying, prospecting, and securing new clients to expand market presence and revenue.
- Market Expansion: Identify new business opportunities for dietary supplements. Develop strategies to penetrate untapped brands.
- Enhance Internal Lead Follow-up and Conversion: Implementing a structured and timely follow-up process, ensuring rapid response to inquiries, nurturing leads through consistent engagement, and optimizing conversion rates to maximize sales opportunities.
- Account Management: Build and maintain strong relationships with key customers, distributors, and partners. Ensure long-term customer satisfaction and loyalty.
- Team Involvement and Collaboration: Work well in a team environment with executives, project managers, marketing, manufacturing and product development.
- Sales Performance Monitoring: Track and analyze sales performance metrics to identify trends, optimize strategies, and make data-driven decisions. Report regularly to senior management on sales achievements and forecasts.
- Product and Market Expertise: Maintain in-depth knowledge of our product line, industry trends, and competitive landscape. Educate customers on the benefits and differentiators of our services.
- Regulatory Compliance: Ensure all sales activities comply with industry regulations and company policies. Uphold the highest ethical standards in all business practices.
Additional Considerations:
- CRM Integration: Integrate inbound and outbound lead generation efforts with a CRM system to track progress and measure results.
- Performance Metrics: Track key performance indicators (KPIs) such as lead volume, lead quality, conversion rates, and sales cycle length to measure the effectiveness of inbound and outbound sales efforts.
- Goal Setting: Set specific, measurable, and achievable goals for inbound and outbound lead generation and conversion.
- Team Collaboration: Foster collaboration between sales and marketing teams to align goals and optimize lead generation and conversion strategies.
- Continuous Improvement: Regularly review and refine inbound and outbound sales strategies based on data and insights.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field (MBA preferred).
- 2+ years of sales experience - dietary supplement, nutraceutical, or related industry preferred.
- Proven track record of driving significant sales growth and achieving revenue targets.
- Strong team management skills, with the ability to inspire and motivate others.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills.
- Strategic thinker with strong analytical skills and the ability to make data-driven decisions.
- Extensive knowledge of the dietary supplement industry, including market trends, competitors, and regulatory requirements.
- Willingness to travel frequently to meet with key customers and stakeholders.
- Ability to develop and grow strong relationships with multiple key customer contacts within each customer account.
- Ability to travel to company headquarters up to 4 times per year.
