As the Head of Grid Integration and T&D Strategy, you’ll lead a high-performing team of engineers and advisors focused on helping clients navigate the evolving complexity of clean energy grid integration. From utility interconnection and transmission planning to regulatory compliance and power system studies, this is a hands-on leadership role for someone who thrives at the intersection of policy, technology, and business strategy. You’ll drive innovation in T&D services, grow key customer relationships, and shape the roadmap for how next-generation energy systems connect to the grid—while empowering a collaborative, mission-driven team to grow alongside you.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead a team of experts providing grid integration studies and consulting services to utilities, developers, and system operators.
- Collaborate with clients to develop practical solutions for integrating new generation and transmission assets onto the grid.
- Strengthen business opportunities by identifying and capitalizing on market trends and client needs.
- Drive operational excellence by streamlining workflows, improving team efficiency, and ensuring timely delivery of projects.
- Represent the organization in high-level discussions with stakeholders to establish the company as a trusted industry leader.
- Stay informed on changes in energy policies, regulations, and technologies to anticipate market needs.
- Cultivate a high-performing team culture focused on collaboration, innovation, and professional development.
The ideal candidate will have:
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Environmental Science, or a related discipline
- 10+ years of experience in grid integration, transmission, and distribution, or related fields
- Proven experience in leading teams and managing complex energy projects
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact effectively with stakeholders at all levels
- Proven track record of growing a business, including at least 2 years of management and business planning experience
- Willing to travel up to 20% of the time, including domestic and international
Salary range: $175 - $220K
