Our clinics in Scranton and Danville are expanding, and we are seeking passionate and dedicated Certified Orthotists or CPO’s to join our team.
Position Overview:
As a Certified Orthotist, you will play a vital role in assessing, designing, and fitting orthotic devices for patients with various physical conditions. You will collaborate with healthcare professionals, including physicians and therapists, to provide the best possible care for your patients.
Key Responsibilities:
- Evaluate patients’ needs and provide custom orthotic devices to support mobility and function.
- Design, measure, and fit orthotic devices tailored to each patient’s condition.
- Collaborate with healthcare providers to develop treatment plans and ensure proper follow-up care.
- Educate patients and caregivers on the use and care of orthotic devices.
- Stay current with industry advancements and maintain certification through continued education.
- Maintain accurate patient records and documentation in compliance with industry standards.
Qualifications:
- ABC Certified Orthotist (CO)/BOC Certified Orthotist preferred; board eligible candidates will also be considered.
- Minimum of 1-3 years of experience as a Certified Orthotist (new graduates are encouraged to apply).
- Strong interpersonal skills with a passion for patient care.
- Ability to work in a team environment and communicate effectively with patients and healthcare professionals.
