Peri-Anesthesia Nurse Manager

Location: West Coast Region of the United States
Hospital: This is a Not-for-profit hospital system with a 7 Suite OR in the process of expansion.
Position: As the Peri Anesthesia RN Manager, you will oversee nursing care and operations in the Pre-Op and Post Anesthesia Care Unit (PACU), ensuring smooth patient transitions from admission to discharge. Ensures compliance and other regulatory standards, while fostering a professional, accountable, and high-performing nursing team. Responsible for team development, resource management, and financial oversight to support department goals. This role requires strong leadership, multitasking, and collaboration skills to drive operational efficiency and maintain excellent patient care. This position works closely with and reports to the Senior Director of Perioperative Services.
Department Stats:
- 50+ Direct reports including 2-3 charge nurse leaders.
- 3000+ Inpatient/4500+ outpatient cases annually.
- 7 OR Suites currently, with expansion plans in the works. 1 DaVinci suite
- Types of cases: Robotics, Urology, Ortho, General, Spine
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in nursing.
- Current state RN License.
- 1+ years of experience as charge/supervisor/manager in the OR.
- 5+ years in relevant clinical nursing experience in an acute care facility
- 3+ years in a Post Anesthesia Care unit.
- Basic Life Support healthcare provider (BLS).
- CNOR, Certified Post Anesthesia Nurse (CPAN) or Certified Ambulatory Peri-anesthesia Nurse (CAPA), strongly preferred.
- Demonstrated understanding of healthcare financial management and budgeting.
Schedule:
- Full time
- Weekends as needed.
Salary: Comp $180K-$250K DOE, Relocation assistance and Generous benefits. Annual bonus potential.
