Exciting Opportunity in Business Development and Sales
Our client is seeking a dynamic Sales & Business Development Professional to join their team! This role is centered around identifying new business opportunities, cultivating strong client relationships, and driving revenue growth within the precast concrete industry. You’ll be at the forefront of building relationships with designers and installers on site development projects, while actively promoting and selling our full product range in the Greater Seattle area. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in sales and a solid understanding of construction materials or infrastructure development.
Key Responsibilities:
Business Development & Lead Generation
- Prospect and secure new business opportunities within the retaining wall and construction sectors. Manage customer acquisition, performance tracking, resource allocation, and budget management.
- Establish and nurture strong relationships with contractors, designers, engineers, developers, installers, and municipal/government agencies.
- Monitor industry trends and market dynamics to uncover new growth opportunities.
Sales & Client Relationship Management
- Actively promote and sell our precast concrete solutions to potential clients.
- Prepare and present customized proposals, quotes, and technical solutions that address customer needs.
- Lead contract negotiations, ensuring alignment with company pricing and terms.
Marketing & Networking
- Represent the company at industry events, trade shows, and professional networking functions.
- Assist in developing and executing marketing strategies to support sales efforts.
- Deliver impactful presentations that showcase our company as a trusted leader in the infrastructure sector.
- Collaborate with leadership and marketing teams to enhance brand visibility and reputation.
Qualifications & Skills:
The ideal candidate will bring a wealth of knowledge in precast concrete solutions and have a knack for solving problems with creative solutions. The successful applicant will also have the following:
- A passion for generating new business – comfortable with prospecting, negotiating, and closing deals. Experience with cold calling is a plus.
- Experience reading blueprints/construction plans
- Creativity in sales – use your imagination to build relationships, explore unexpected opportunities, and provide tailored solutions to clients.
- At least 2 years of experience in sales, business development, or project management within the construction or infrastructure sectors.
- Familiarity with retaining wall systems, underground construction, and engineering principles.
- Proficiency in CRM software and Google Suite.
