Interim Quality Improvement (QI) Nurse
Managed Care
A progressive healthcare organization is seeking an experienced Interim QI Nurse (RN) to drive quality initiatives, specifically in complaint and grievance resolution, ensuring members receive high-quality, compliant care aligned with CMS, DHCS, and NCQA standards.
Interim Details
- 3-month assignment to start; possibility of extension
- Remote (must reside in California)
- Proficient with standard computer tools/workflows
Key Responsibilities
- Research, analyze, and resolve Quality of Care complaints and grievances
- Develop, implement, and monitor corrective action plans
- Participate in committees, audits, and quality initiatives
- Support HEDIS activities and data-driven performance improvement
Qualifications
Required
- Bachelor’s degree from an accredited nursing program
- Active, unrestricted California RN license
- 5+ years clinical nursing experience
- Strong analytical, communication, and documentation skills
Preferred
- 3+ years in quality improvement or managed care
- Experience with Medi-Cal/Medicare populations; familiarity with Title 22, CMS, and NCQA standards
Salary: $55/hour
