We are seeking a skilled Maintenance Electrician (E&I Technician) to support plant operations through expert troubleshooting, repair, and maintenance of electrical and instrumentation systems. Key Requirements:
⚠️ Licensure:
Must hold a valid Nebraska Journeyman or Contractor’s Electrician License
— or a license from a reciprocal state: AK, AR, CO, ID, IA, MN, MT, NM, ND, OK, SD, TX, WY.
Key Responsibilities:

Ensure compliance with all safety, health, environmental, and quality standards.

Troubleshoot, install, and maintain electrical systems, instrumentation, and manufacturing equipment.

Perform diagnostics and repairs involving PLCs, DCS hardware, and automated control systems.

Use CMMS software to track work orders and maximize equipment uptime.

Read and interpret schematics, P&IDs, and mechanical/electrical blueprints.

Support scheduled maintenance activities and respond to unplanned equipment issues.

Participate in plant improvement projects and provide support during emergency or off-hours events.

Contribute to a collaborative, team-first work environment.
Qualifications:

Valid Nebraska Electrician License (or license from reciprocal state).

Technical degree or certification in Electrical/Instrumentation or related field.

Minimum 5 years of electrical/instrumentation experience (ethanol or manufacturing preferred).

Proficiency in Microsoft Office and CMMS platforms.

High school diploma or GED required.
Additional Requirements:

Willingness to work rotating on-call schedules, including weekends and holidays.

Ability to lift up to 50 lbs., work at heights up to 200 feet, and in confined spaces.

Comfortable working around dust, chemicals, and within a physically demanding environment.

Must be able to wear full PPE (hard hat, gloves, hearing protection, etc.).

Strong communication skills—verbal and two-way radio.
