VP – Technical Accounting Manager
If you are a seasoned banking accounting and finance professional and are looking for an outstanding opportunity in the Missouri Market, we may have the perfect opportunity for you. Our firm specializes in placing accounting and finance professionals in banks all over the country. This specific client is looking for a Technical Accounting Manager.
Our client is a growing bank with a complex balance sheet and a long history in their market. Our firm has a solid relationship with them as we have worked with them before. We have a great feel for their culture and believe they are an employer of choice in their marketplace.
This position is not a replacement. Due to continued growth, it is a newly created position that will report directly to the Chief Accounting Officer and handle the research and application of US GAAP and new FASB’s that are handed down and how they impact the bank. Additionally, you will handle any technical accounting implications of SEC filings and also be responsible for performing pro forma and ad hoc reporting on future and past acquisitions.
To be considered, at a minimum you must have worked in public accounting with banks that were SEC Registrants as your primary focus. A CPA accreditation is a requisite for this job as is the ability to collaborate with high performing teams. Banking experience is a must. If you happen to be a policy person, SEC Reporting Manager, Assistant Controller, Controller, etc. at a bank and are looking to parlay that experience into a multibillion-dollar bank with a great financial footing and a great future, we encourage you to throw your hat into the ring. Your candidacy would be handled in the strictest of confidence. If you possess the attributes mentioned above and can research, apply, and establish a business case with external auditors and are interested in an exploratory conversation to discuss, please inquire in confidence today.
We look forward to hearing from you.
