Job Responsibilities for the Surgical Dental Assistant Include:
- Support the patient after surgery with recovery care (administering meds, changing of gauze, discharging patient, etc).
Requirements of the Surgical Dental Assistant:
- Experience with implants and in the surgical realm of dentistry is preferred but not required.
- Able to stand on their feed for a 10 hour shift
- Able to work in a surgical environment (blood, teeth extraction, bone reduction, grafting, etc)
- Work well with other individuals
- Able to work in a fast-paced environment
