Human Resource Manager
Location: Novi, Michigan
Salary Range: $80,000 - $90,000 + Bonus Structure
About the Role
We are seeking an experienced Human Resource Manager to lead all aspects of HR for our growing food manufacturing company. This strategic role encompasses recruiting, training, employee relations, compliance, and policy administration.
Key Responsibilities
- Partner with leadership to identify hiring needs and manage full-cycle recruitment
- Develop and implement onboarding, training, and employee development programs
- Design compensation packages and manage performance standards
- Resolve employee relations issues and provide HR guidance to staff and leaders
- Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local labor laws
- Analyze HR metrics to develop solutions that improve retention and productivity
- Prepare and manage HR budget
Required Qualifications
- Minimum 8 years of progressive human resource experience
- Associate degree required (or equivalent combination of education and experience)
- Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills
- Experience with Microsoft Office Suite
- SHRM Certified Professional (SHRM-CP) credential preferred
Work Environment
This onsite position operates in both an office setting and on a food manufacturing floor, requiring adherence to sanitation standards and GMPs. Flexibility is needed to support a multiple shift operation.
