Key Responsibilities – Senior Interior Designer

Lead interior design projects through all phases: concept development, schematic design, design development, construction documentation, and construction administration.

Develop and present interior design concepts, material selections, lighting design, millwork detailing, and finish palettes.

Produce high-quality Revit construction documentation, including interior elevations, millwork drawings, details, and finish schedules.

Create visual presentations using SketchUp, Revit, and Adobe InDesign to clearly communicate design intent.

Coordinate with clients, consultants, vendors, and internal project teams to maintain alignment with design vision, budget, and schedule.

Manage multiple interior design projects simultaneously while maintaining technical accuracy and design quality.

Source and specify FF&E, develop furniture layouts, budgets, and bid packages.

Conduct site visits, document field conditions, and support construction administration to ensure design intent is executed.

Provide mentorship and design leadership to junior interior designers and project teams.
Qualifications
-
10+ years of professional experience in interior design (commercial and/or residential).

Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Interior Design or a related field.

NCIDQ certification strongly preferred.

Advanced proficiency in Revit; working knowledge of SketchUp required.

Experience with Adobe InDesign preferred.

Demonstrated experience in high-end residential, healthcare, or K–12 interior design.

Strong project management, organizational, and communication skills.

Ability to thrive in a collaborative, fast-paced interior design studio.
