Director of Emergency Services

Are you a forward-thinking ED nurse leader ready to elevate emergency care operations? This Director role offers the chance to lead a busy Emergency Department through growth, change, and performance improvement.

You'll oversee clinical care, staffing, education, and quality outcomes across a high-acuity ED and trauma environment. Reporting directly to executive leadership, this is a strategic and operational role with direct impact on patient experience, safety, and throughput.

About the role:

• Full oversight of ED operations, including staffing, patient flow, and compliance
• Direct leadership of clinical and professional development teams
• Quality improvement initiatives focused on Press Ganey, CAHPS, and clinical outcomes
• Strategic planning, capacity management, and succession planning
• Readiness for trauma and emergency care accreditations

Requirements:

• BSN required; Master’s degree preferred
• 3 years of progressive leadership experience, managing 8+ clinical FTEs.
• Proven success managing Emergency Services teams in an acute care setting
• Track record of improving efficiency, patient outcomes, and physician collaboration
