We are seeking a clinically driven Certified Prosthetist/Orthotist (CPO) who is eager to make a meaningful impact in patients’ lives while working within a close-knit private practice setting.
Position Overview
The Certified Prosthetist/Orthotist will be responsible for evaluating patients, designing and fitting custom orthotic and prosthetic devices, and providing follow-up care to ensure optimal outcomes. This role offers the opportunity to work with a diverse patient population while contributing to the continued growth of a well-established private practice.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform comprehensive patient evaluations to determine orthotic and prosthetic needs.
- Design, fabricate, fit, and adjust custom orthotic and prosthetic devices.
- Educate patients and caregivers on proper use and care of devices.
- Collaborate with physicians, therapists, and other healthcare professionals to coordinate care.
- Maintain accurate clinical documentation and comply with industry standards and best practices.
- Participate in ongoing quality improvement and clinical development efforts.
Qualifications
- ABC-certified Prosthetist/Orthotist (CPO)
- Eligible for or currently holding Florida licensure.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills with a compassionate, patient-first approach.
- Detail-oriented with strong clinical judgment and problem-solving abilities.
- Ability to thrive in a small-team, private practice environment.
