This 265+ bed hospital is an independent facility and is seeking an Assistant Director of Accounting to serve as a key operational leader within the Finance Department. Reporting to the Director of Finance, this individual will lead the monthly and annual financial close process, oversee core accounting operations, and ensure the integrity, accuracy, and timeliness of financial reporting across the organization.

Salary: The salary range for this role is $100k-$115k as a base and will offer relocation assistance as well!
Job Requirements
- Bachelors Degree Required, CPA preferred
- Five years of healthcare accounting and finance experience required.
- Strong knowledge of GAAP, financial reporting, balance sheet reconciliations, and close cycle management.
- Experience with regulatory compliance and audit readiness initiatives. Oversight experience across general ledger, accounts payable, fixed assets, and cash management functions.
- Must possess deep technical accounting expertise and the ability to step into the role with minimal ramp up time.
