Nurse Director of Emergency Services

We are working on a Director of Emergency Services opportunity with a rural/community hospital in the Southwest that is preparing for meaningful ED growth.
The next Director will be there while that growth happens — with the opportunity to influence staffing, patient flow, workflows, team development, and how the department operates with significantly more capacity.
The hospital is small, but it has strong recent momentum. It has been recognized for improvement in clinical operations, employee engagement, patient experience, quality, and organizational efficiency, along with recognition specifically tied to Emergency Care and Emergency Timeliness.

For the right leader, the smaller setting is part of the appeal. The Director is close to the operation, has direct access to hospital leadership, knows the team, and can see the impact of decisions without navigating layers of a large system.
Requirements
- BSN required, Master’s preferred
- Candidates enrolled in an accredited BSN program with a scheduled completion date may be considered
- 3+ years of progressive healthcare leadership experience
- Certification in a clinical specialty or nursing administration preferred
