This is a 220+ bed campus staffed by 180+ skilled physicians and healthcare professionals. Nationally recognized for excellence in chest pain and stroke care, the hospital is driven by quality and a commitment to outstanding patient service.

 

The Lab Manager will be responsible for managing the administrative, financial, and technical aspects of the clinical laboratory. This includes ensuring smooth operations, regulatory compliance, and high standards of patient care. The role involves supervising staff, budgets, and resources while providing technical oversight for both on-site and off-site lab services.

 

This Manager will have 50 direct reports and will report to the Lab Director (who was the previous lab manager). She is described as very knowledgeable and an expert in her field. She is looking for someone with some spark and personality to enhance the culture of the existing team.

 

Requirements: 

  • Bachelor's Degree in Medical Laboratory Science, Biology, Chemistry, or a related field required
    • ASCP - Medical Technologist required
    • Certified Medical Laboratory Technician (MLT)-AMT preferred or
    • CLS-L - Clinical Lab Scientist License preferred
  • 5 years of experience in a clinical laboratory setting required
  • 2 years of supervisory or management experience in a laboratory environment preferred.
