Job Title: Temporary Medical Assistant
Location: Greater Houston Area
Schedule: Monday-Thurs 7:30-4:00/4:30 and on Friday 7:30-12:00
Job Responsibilities:
- Assist providers with patient examinations, treatments, and dermatology procedures.
- Prepare patients for exams and procedures and provide appropriate patient support.
- Obtain and document patient histories, vital signs, and other clinical information.
- Assist with specimen collection, wound care, and other clinical duties as directed.
- Prepare and maintain examination rooms and ensure necessary supplies are available.
- Document patient information accurately in the electronic medical record.
- Provide professional and compassionate patient care.
- Follow clinic policies, safety standards, and infection-control procedures.
- Perform other clinical and administrative duties as assigned.
Requirements
- Dermatology experience strongly preferred.
- Familiarity with dermatology procedures and terminology is a plus.
- Strong communication and organizational skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced clinical environment.
- Professional, dependable, and patient-focused.
